Sophia Johler heads the Chair of Food Microbiology

Prof. Sophia Johler will take over the former Chair of Hygiene and Technology of Milk (chair holder Prof. Erwin Märtlbauer) from August 1, 2024. New research topics will complement the existing research focus on milk hygiene and the experienced team at the chair will be supplemented by three additional postdocs - Dr. Danai Etter, Dr. Alexandra Fetsch, and Dr. Klèma Kone. The teaching content will remain the same and will be supplemented by a stronger One Health perspective. The range of services will remain the same and DAkkS accreditation is in preparation.
